Day 5.

Or maybe I'll just forget about it again. Jeez.

Yesterday was one of those days where you don't really do anything, but it still ends up being amazing. The highlight was spending time at the pool with some friends. That's one of the things I'll miss most about Mexico; the freedom to head over to the pool whenever I feel like it and spend a couple of hours there. It's not a big thing. It requires no planning. It just happens, and it always ends up being wonderful.
Oh, Mexico, you've been so good to me. I'll miss you. A little bit. Sometimes.
But then I think about how hot it is. All of the time. You just feel gross and sticky and a tad dead. Mixed feelings about this country.

Today, I had the privilege of spending the evening with Kenz and my grandfather. That's always fun and involves food, so I really can't complain.

TOMORROW, I am attending a graduation! I expect it to be wonderful and amazing. I'll keep you posted.

Hope this writing thing is going better for you guys than it is for me! (:

Day 3.

Well, I'm off to a horrible start. I apologize to all of my avid readers for missing yesterday. Getting in the habit of blogging on a daily basis is something that will take some getting used to!

So anyway. My yesterday was dreadfully uneventful. Showering was literally the most exciting thing I did all day. It WAS a great shower, though. In case you were curious about that.
The beautiful rain is finally here! About time. It's been on and off all day, and I love it. This cloudy weather makes me very happy. Lazy beyond belief, but happy none the less.

Jeez, blogging is so hard. I have nothing to say. This is kind of awkward.
How about I show you some of my photography?

Day 1.

Blog time! 21 days of it!
I would like to apologize in advance. I am definitely not a writer, so this will be an interesting experience for all involved.

First off, an introduction. My name is Shay and I homeschool. I am 16 years old and live in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. I just finished my 11th year of high school, and at the end of this summer, I am moving back to Edmonton, Canada to finish my senior year. Kinda nervous about that.

So, my day! For me, Mondays are Bookmobile days. Bookmobile is an organization that I volunteer with. We take books to a very poor area of Puerto Vallarta once a week and lend them to the kids of the neighbourhood. It is so wonderful. The volunteers are amazing, the kids and mothers who attend are amazing, the whole project is amazing. Bookmobile is definitely one of the highlights of my week.
(Here is a video I made for it a few months ago if you're interested in knowing more :D )
After Bookmobile, I met up with my parents who had just picked up my sister from the airport! She moved back to Canada last February, and though I don't like to admit it, I did miss her a lot. It's wonderful having her home again. (:
And that's about it! The rest of the evening was spent doing absolutely nothing!  Pretty riveting stuff, guys.

This has been a blog post.

EDIT: After looking at everyone else's posts, I feel pretty lame. I'll improve, I swear!
